Vintage USSR Russian Signed hand painted lacquer Box fairy tale knight. Pre Russia/ still USSR -- when the artists were given a lot of time to do their work. Measures approx 6.4 inch length, 3 inch wide and 1.4 tall. Looks like a Palekh Village box but I cant read the name. Minor scuffs on the side and bottom. My dad imported folk art from Russia / USSR back in the 80s and 90s. These are the few items I have left from his estate.

This one isn't new as I kept it in my own collection for over 30 years. I have enough souvenirs of helping my dad in Russia, so I'm letting it go. As they're vintage, this is when artists didn't mass produce these boxes but worked on them slowly and you can tel with the quality. To think I actually went to film school.
